About the Item
This is a very elegant Pair of Painted Wood, Faux Marble Obelisks from France.
The obelisks stand on a large square base with moldings and cartouches all around.
Topped by a gold color ball
The wood is old is very old.
The original owners brought them back from France, and to my knowledge these have been repainted recently.
This pair is solid and in very good condition, consistent with age and use.
