Hand-crafted room divider, bronze, metal, Italy, 1960s.
An Italian Postwar room screen that finds itself at the intersection of art and design. This highly sculptural piece consists of an abstract structure in bronze with abstract shapes and contrast between the transparency and volume. The bronze composition is surrounded by a black coated metal frame, which is supported by elegant bronze feet from both the floor and the ceiling. The sculptural parts are beautifully patinated and show an interesting color palette between oxidized green and bronze.
