1940s Vulcanized US Air Force Ships Trunk Box Table Pedestal Retail Display
About the Item
Sold separately so please specify which one you would like, the lighter more worn box or the darker less worn one.
These are both identical vulcanized fiber cartage trunks with brass or steel cornering/edging. The top lid comes off, and there are bolts around inside edge that can be used to bolt the top on from the exterior for shipping. Could be used as a very authentic piece of decor/pedestal/table.
L 33 x D 18 x H 15 7/8 in.
The lighter version is loosing some of the fiber covering, so you can see the plywood core in some areas. The darker version is less patinated but much cleaner example.
