This Classical Regency Sarcophagus Mahogany Dome Top Cellarette / Office File was made in England in the early Nineteenth Century. The Regency Sarcophagus Mahogany Dome Top Cellarette take is a Classical Form from Ancient Greek and Roman Architecture. The Sarcophagus Cellarette / Office File Trunk has a Mahogany Dome Top framed in hand-carved mahogany Egg-and-Dart Molding. The Mahogany Sarcophagus Cellarette Box is in the Classic Greek Lyre Form coming up to hand-carved Scrolled Handle Sides with a farmed mahogany panel below the key escutcheon. The Sarcophagus is supported by rectangle plinth with four scrolled feet. The hand-carved mahogany Scrolled Feet are in the style of the top corner scrolls on the Sarcophagus for Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus. The Cellarette bottle dividers where Custom-Fit with eight mahogany file slots for a Gentleman's Executive Office in the Twenty Century.
