Art Deco Streamline Curvilinear Coat & Hat Rack in Polished Chrome
About the Item
This sleek and sophisticated Art Deco Curvilinear Coat & Hat Rack in Polished Chrome originates from France, Circa 1930. Highly usable and with a lovely aesthetic quality, this piece features a construction in two curved rectangular bands of polished chrome, one curving downwards meeting the wall, the other extending outwards with a cross bar for support, serving to hold hats or other accessories as a minimal shelf. The lower bent element has six convex circular hangers that extend several inches, perfect to store coats and other daily accessories. With a fresh and modernist feel while still being anchored in the design characteristics and materials of the Art Deco movement, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of settings and spaces, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary interiors.
