About the Item

This elegant magazine stand was realized in the United States by Fred Farr for Revere in America, circa 1935. Handcrafted in Rome, New York, this piece offers a banded and streamlined black enamel base from which two curling chrome scroll forms emanate upwards meeting in their center. The central rod- executed in lustrous chrome- ascends from the black enamel base culminating in two banded streamlined handles of the same material. With its classically Art Deco forms and materials, this piece promises to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. Excellent vintage condition. American, circa 1935 Dimensions: 18" H x 9.5" W x 6" D.
