About the Item

Playful coatrack designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello in the 1970s shaped like a whimsical cactus in foam painted in bright green. Guido Drocco and Franco Mello were Italian designers who worked together in the 1970s and 1980s. They were known for their innovative approach to design, which often combined elements of art, and industrial design. The duo's work was characterized by its sculptural quality and use of unconventional materials, such as plastic, metal, and wood. They created a wide range of products, including furniture, lighting, and decorative objects, many of which were one-of-a-kind or limited edition pieces.
