About the Item
The FOLDWORK VALET by STUDIO BERG is a crossbreed between a wall sculpture, inspired by half-timbered constructions, and a valet stand. It hangs on the wall, has a shelf for accessories, an arch for jackets and a hanger which can be folded out to provide more space for clothes. The initial idea for the FOLDWORK collection was to provide disregarded and primarily functional products in our household with a new appearance and give them their own personality in order to get them out of the utility rooms into the centre of our living-rooms.
The VALET comes with three brass screws to mount it to the wall.

Combining her background in both fine art and design, STUDIO BERG founder Friederike Delius creates unconventional pieces that playfully question our understanding of familiar objects, turning their everyday use into something special. All her design pieces are handcrafted with her team in her own Berlin studio or created in collaboration with small local manufacturers using high quality craftsmanship and carefully selected materials.

All her design pieces are handcrafted with her team in her own Berlin studio or created in collaboration with small local manufacturers using high quality craftsmanship and carefully selected materials.
