About the Item
Custom and studio-made wall mounted coat rack with a top shelf, well crafted and heavy, in the style of a Robert Mallet-Stevens’ early 1920s design. The coat/hat rack is made from 1/8” thick solid brass that was plated in nickel with an antiqued, brushed finish. There are four hooks in the shape of upward pointing arrows, and each are secured onto the coat rack’s frame by six flat head, counter sunken screws with the same nickel plated finish. The coat rack is mounted onto the wall by six anchored screws. The top shelf can be used to display objects, books, a vase, etc. Weighing approximately 45 pounds, this is a great option for the heaviest of coats and/or if you are looking for a modern style rack that also has a strong presence.
