About the Item

A pair of Italian, 19th century iron hangers. This pair of large-sized antique hangers from Italy feature a vertical back plate which supports the scrolling arms that extend out more than 2 feet. The upper and lower portions of the backplate continue the scrolling motif. There are hooks at the bottom of the arms, allowing them to function as hangers. These forged iron hangers have a wonderful rusty patina. This pair of 19th century Italian scrolling hangers would be wonderful flanking an entryway or wall on a porch or gate, perhaps with a plant hanging from their arms.
