Giuseppe Calonaci, b. 1931 Poggibonsi (Sienna) Italy, founded S.I.V.A. in 1955, an arts laboratory focused the creation of enamel on steel art and sculptural objects.
These coat racks are a fine example of this contrasting amalgamation of the elegant, delicate, colorful enamel against the robust, rugged iron.
Charming fish motif and vibrant color palette in red, blue, green, black, white, beige and orange.
Light edge wear and minor spotting present to the enamel panels; iron shows patches of oxidation commensurate with age.
