The Symbol 20 offers everything our classic Symbol Coat Rack does, now in a shorter length to fit in more places. This modern coat rack functions both a practical storage option and as wall art. During the summer months the Symbol 20 in MONOCHROME hangs on the wall as a purely aesthetic piece, as the hooks lay flat and belie their function. When needed, the coat hooks flip down smoothly to help you organize your things. Finish is clear anodized aluminum. Designed by David E. Scott. Made in the USA. Mounts to the wall using a sturdy cleat and holds up to 45 lbs.

DESU DESIGN is an American design and manufacturing company that produces the utilitarian and art objects designed by David E. Scott (DESU is an acronym for David E. Scott Utility). At DESU, we strive to make innovative products that blur the boundary between art and design. Our goal is to create pieces of lasting quality, retaining their beauty and functionality for generations. We utilize the precision of modern manufacturing methods with the unmatched skills of the human hand. Inspiration comes from forms found in nature, the history of modern design, and the combined beauty of geometry and the machine. DESU produces many of our products in house and through a network of small independent producers almost all of whom are located in Southern Vermont and New England.
