An Unusual 19th Century Double Sided Country House Boot and Coat Rack
About the Item
A very fine and unusual 19th Century Country House mahogany double sided boot and Coat rack. This very fine piece is beautifully hand carved, of exceptional quality and with rich patination and grain. This well figured, moulded three tier boot and coat rack features with an arrangement of four cast iron coat hooks to each side of the top tier, an arrangement of moulded boot holders to the middle and a shaped undertier shelf below, all set within elegantly, tapering ring turned side supports surmounted with bobbin finials, terminating on stylised trestle foot.
