About the Item

This French beech wood artist's floor easel from the turn of the twentieth century features a wooden crank mechanism that allows for an adjustable height of 69.5 to 105 inches. Its 4.25 inch deep tray allows for larger canvases to be held. The easel rests on iron casters and a mechanism in the base allows for the easel to lock in place. A plaque on the back reads Felix Mommen, 35 Rue de la Charite, Bruxelles. An ideal piece for any artist or collector of fine art, circa 1900.
