Large Sculptors Studio Stand by Alec Tiranti

A monumental Sculptors studio stand of Architectural Form with rotating squared top.
This solid and robust stand is made of patinated beechwood with a rather beautifully engineered metal rolling device to help the top rotate 360 degrees. This part is embossed with maker's mark for Alec Tiranti Ltd, London.
Tiranti Ltd is a go-to maker of artists materials for artists and sculptors. This stand has been loved and used and bears the excellent patina of a tool that has been used in artistic endeavours over time.
Made in England c. 1950.
This stand would show off any large stone, bronze, ceramic sculpture or plant, lamp or feature that needs a sturdy stand that creates a bit of impact.
