About the Item

An exceptional quality early 19th century mahogany folio stand the two leaves adjustable for angle by pulling on the two decorative cords to disengage the ratcheted mechanism. The central bed with two concave channels to hold the documents in place and standing on end supports with platform bases, raised on bun feet. In fine and original condition Measures: Height with flaps up 42 inches Height with flaps down 17 inches Base 30 inches by 27 inches.
