Early 20th century classical Maison Bagues drinks trolley
About the Item
Early 20th century classical Maison Bagues drinks trolley
A highly desirable example of an early 20th century classical Maison Bagues drinks trolley. Very finely cast galleries and original mirrored black glass shelves, on original casters. This is a heavy item due to the material, its untouched in form and shows aged areas, nevertheless it is still a true interior designer’s piece of high-quality furniture and would look very stylish in the right space.
Size: H 27 ” x W 28” x D 19”
Completely solid in structure and form, being made from heavy glass shelves and brass frame it weighs close to 25kgs, the black mirrored shelves show scratches with split mercury (especially to the top shelf) as shown due to its age and obvious use. The brass is also aged naturally and shows a deep patination of colour and oxidisation. The wheels are also aged and show elements of light colour loss and corrosion as we have tried to show. The item is solid and not loss or out of line structurally.
Please expect imperfections as suggested and shown in the photos provided. We have tried to show all its flaws in the photos. For multiple years we have sold antique items globally, please expect our items to show relevant age and natural wear, Items are only restored due to breaks and major loss, and we always stipulate this in our condition report.
