Georgian Whatnot and Music Stand

About the Item

An early 19th century Georgian mahogany three-tier whatnot. The centre tier of the whatnot has a single mahogany lined drawer with a knob handle. The top of the whatnot can be unlatched and lifted to become an adjustable sheet music or book rest. The whatnot has short tapering turned legs with brass casters. The whatnot is made completely from mahogany and is in good original condition, circa 1830. Measures: Height 127cm (50 inches) Width 45cm (17.7 inches) Depth 44cm (17.3 inches).
