19th Century Corner Walking Stick Stand
About the Item
19th century oak corner walking stick stand from England. The top has a scalloped and hand carved decorated back, decorated further with hand turned finials for additional design interest. The front rail is curved in a convex shape and is hand carved decorated as well. The legs are hand turned in a bobbin pattern, and joined at the bottom by a shelf, which includes the original well for the walking sticks. The piece is then raised on hand turned feet.
