This is a large vintage Famille Rose stick stand. A Chinese ceramic hall stand, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940. Of generous proportion and enthusiastically decorated Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order White ceramic ground finished with court scenes and foliate patterns Appealing colour palette hosts pinks, oranges and greens Useful opening diameter of 16.5cm (6.5") Rolled rim decorated with a quartet of vine leaf garlands Classical court scenes within colourful panels to the front and rear fascia Famille rose background patterns with gilt accents add distinction Replete with a character mark to the naturally finished base This is an appealing vintage Famille Rose stick stand, with excellent colour and painted detail interest.
