This original vintage Minimalist umbrella stand was produced in the 1950s in Germany by Vereinigte Werkstätten München. It is made of solid metal and brass. for umbrella holding this element has a nice looped form holder element from bottom to the top. on the top it features a round handle element for carrying. the base element is made of heavy iron metal. High quality German production of the 1950s, highly collectible and very rare to find. Straight forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The item still remains in a good vintage condition, some normal surface patination. some rusty spots caused by water influence. the looped holder element has a white surface coating, due to aging effects and using there a several imperfections on the coating, please see images.
