Large Impressive Antique Pillow The French Aubusson Tapestry panel dates from 17th Century Woven in Naturally Dyed wool and silk Depicting Trees and a Chateau Finished with antique century Gold Metallic Braid and 17th century tassel fringe Backed with antique Oatmeal colour linen The Tapestry panel is in Good antique condition considering it is approx 350 years old Shows general signs of wear commensurate with age and use Please read below what may be expected re_ condition of these rare and ancient textiles as this may not be acceptable to you This is a large over size example which would complement an antique or contemporary interior design SIZE:- 22 inches x 21 inches (56cm x 54 cm) S5153B PLEASE NOTE On a genuine 17th century verdure tapestry we would of course expect to see evidence confirming its 400 years of use, such as loose missing threads, areas of general wear, perhaps areas of re weaving / restoration/ patching , lines of separation within the weaving, sometimes areas of sun fading and brittle
