Bed runner quilt blanket vintage Irish linen patchwork handmade
For a single bed or (UK) Queen’s size bed.
Contemporary patchwork.
The back is also Irish linen.
All the fabric is 100% pure Irish Linen, the aristocrat of textiles and certified by the Irish Linen Guild. Thick and soft to the touch, with beautiful texture and grain. All the cloth is in perfect condition. All the elects are natural - natural thread, lined in layer of cotton/bamboo/wool mix wadding (patting/padding).
In three shades:
White - Classic pristine white.
Oatmeal - traditional Irish Linen colour, a combination of the unbleached raw color of the natural flax plant on the weft intertwined with pristine white on the warp, resulting in a beautiful mottled effect.
Natural - the slightly darker triangle patches, this is the actual wonderful undyed colorer the flax plant itself.
This is a one-of-a-kind item.
Would also be superb in a child’s nursery, and as a special Christening gift.
