Custom design by Studio Variously, Boro Throw is handwoven ethically by master weavers in Nepal and dyed entirely with earth friendly dyes in soft 100% merino yarn. A sustainable design brand based out of Michigan, Studio Variously exclusively collaborates with artisan communities globally to restore and revive ancient techniques by exploring classic modern designs in textile based products for interiors. The design is made up of subtle twill weave that creates a soft weave. Twill weave with dual color yarns gives a softer visual appeal to the plush merino yarn used in this handloom throw. Neat short fringes give this throw/blanket a clean classic and modern appeal, also making this throw / blanket reversible to arrange and for multiple use in interior space. Our textiles are incredibly soft to touch and wear well over time. Requiring attention to detail and finishing, this piece luxuriously combines heritage value and high quality craftsmanship. For Boro, we are using only the highest quality of soft natural hand-spun merino yarn, which is later hand-dyed with earth friendly dyes, free of toxic chemicals. Our certified eco friendly Swiss dyes are specifically engineered to promote the lifespan of each throw. Completely 100% handmade from start to finish, each piece is unique. Classic in design, this timeless throw / blanket will complement interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically. Size: 83" x 43" (210 cm x 110 cm) Material: 100% soft plush merino from Australia. Colors: Soft pastel blue and canvas twill weave. Artisan base: Ethically & responsibly handwoven by artisans in Nepal. Wash care: Gently hand wash using gentle detergents. Hang dry in cool shaded place or delicately dry clean only. Packaging: Each piece comes with its individual envelope shaped pouch made with canvas cotton and natural wood buttoned closure. This is also made by our artisans to keep the production inclusive. This sustainable packaging also ensures longer life for the handwoven scarf, and makes our custom packaging reusable and breathable.
