About the artisans
These throws are made in the Nachig municipality of Zinacantan, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico, an area that has been characterized by their finely woven striped ponchos and huipiles. These throws are created on back strap looms using age old methods, natural dyes, and 100% cotton threads. They lend themselves to a variety of uses, from a graphic decorative touch on furniture to a tablecloth or a light cotton throw for warmer months.
