Title: Large Vintage French Cartier Tropical Rare Silk Scarf Pink Irish Linen Pillow Description: Large custom made luxury cushion created from an exquisite vintage, pure silk Cartier fashion scarf in a glorious tropical design. The striking colour palette is strong, bight and bold with mid and pale pink grounds showcasing fabulous displays of jewels in vibrant blue, green and red - perhaps a nod to the brand’s iconic jewellery making and emerald, sapphire, ruby, diamond, and gold elements. The centre component appears to emulate an elaborate palm tree formation, with big chunky, dramatic gemstones in the middle. Decorated with ornate, bejewelled exotic sealife. With so much busy life going on in this lively picture, it is set as if a window in a rhombus pink ground, that too framed by a detailed boarder mimicking the pattern on the trunks of the palms. Energetic citrus accents on a fresh blue sea make the viewer want to dive into this whimsically luxurious location. It features different images gracing each corner - pineapple, fish, parrot, turtle. This piece is absolutely spectacular. There is an Art Deco flavour to the overall print. Would go amazing with a palm tree style floor lamp.
