About the Item
Under the theme of geometric abstraction, these cushions are made like paintings from our gallery’s high-quality and colorful fabrics. The approach comes from a reinterpretation of geometric abstract painting, based on simple geometric shapes like the square and pure colors. All this is related to realism and minimalism. Through this project, we pay homage to Josef and Anni Albers, Bauhaus-trained leaders of geometric abstraction. They carefully inscribed squares within squares, creating atmospheres that were at once peaceful and harmonically charged. To this end, we are spotlighting our craftsmen by reworking fabrics from the gallery.
