About the Item

These are luxurious silk pillows featuring a Fortuny stripe design. The base fabric is a rich, warm, muted copper silk with a slight sheen, giving it an elegant and sophisticated appearance. A distinctive horizontal band runs across the pillows, adorned with a Fortuny-pattern. This decorative trim consists of geometric and abstract shapes, including repeating bowtie-like motifs and an "X" design on the left. The design is metallic gold which contrasts beautifully with the aged, velvety background of the band. The slightly distressed texture of the patterned band, combined with the lustrous silk, gives these pillows an old-world, artisanal feel, reminiscent of vintage Venetian or Art Deco textiles.
