These hand-crafted throw pillows were designed by a local Chicago artist and textile historian who lovingly repurposes the vintage fabrics, garments and embroidery fragments she collects during her travels. Each pillow has a central panel of vibrant orange silk, woven with a pattern of peacock feathers and butterflies. The colorful silk brocade was sourced from a vintage Japanese obi, the decorative belt sash worn atop a traditional kimono. The pillows are down filled and tastefully backed with linen.
