Custom design by Studio Variously, REYTI is custom designed King Size bedspread / coverlet handwoven by master weavers in India.
A sustainable design brand based out of Michigan, Studio Variously exclusively collaborates with artisan communities to restore and revive ancient techniques by exploring custom modern designs in textile based products.
Reyti Throw is a 100% organic cotton king size bedspread coverlet woven by improvising an ancient technique of handloom weaving originating from Western part of India. Reyti means mud / sand in Hindi language, and this particular throw with its natural dye gives an effect of the shades of mud and sand in the habitat of the artisan's village in India.
The edges are hand rolled and three panels are first individually hand woven and then hand embroidered together forming a unique design element. Requiring attention to detail and finishing, Reyti throw uses organic cotton that has been cultivated by using rain water harvestation process making it truly sustainable in nature. It takes an incredibly skillful master artisan to make this special piece which is unique to the artisan cluster it originates from.
For Reyti we are using only the highest quality of soft natural organic cotton yarn , which is later hand-dyed with organic dyes, free of toxic chemicals. As this luxurious textile is completely handmade from start to finish, each piece is unique. Classic and modern in design, this timeless throw / blanket will enhance interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically.

Wash care: Gently hand wash with cold water and hang dry or delicately dry clean only.
Packaging: Each throw comes in a square cotton canvas pouch, which allows the textile to breath, and this can be re-used for storage. All our packaging pouches are also made by our artisans to keep our production inclusive.
