Lovely piece of Scandinavian folk art weaving of the 19th century, realized in kelim technique, or flat weave wool. It has a vibrant and varied palette of green, beige, light grey blue against of vivid red background to one side, and two bands decorated in traditional folk patterns over a rust background.
