20th C. American Southwest Saddle Blanket with Lazy Lines
About the Item
20th c., saddle blanket from the American Southwest. Green, grey and brown woven wool, with a double stepped diamond medallion in the center on a brown ground, solid striped and sawtooth borders. Lazy lines, a wool warp and side selvage cord are all hallmarks of American Southwest weavings, all evident on this textile.
