$459.93Asking Priceper item

About

The textile is part of L'écoucheur collection, valuing the natural expressivity of flax at its raw state. By working directly with the primary scotched fibers, this project aims to presents new aspects, tactility’s and properties of linen, often standardized in weaving forms. The textile is made by using stitching technique, allowing to avoid the spinning of the fiber to preserve its natural shine. The surface plays with the natural creasing tendency of flax to make it a quality. The feel of the textile is soft and rough and can act as a tapestry while hanging, a room divider as well as a blanket. The project also aims to encourage and diversify a local network of production, based in France. The collection is exclusively made in Normandy and can be tailored for other sizes on request. Price is per meter (150cm width).
