Quilted Indigo Canvas Throw Blanket V2

About the Item

Inspired by a worn-in pair of jeans and created alongside the team at Simon Miller, USA, our indigo cotton canvas is hand dyed using a chemical free process and embraces unique texture and color variations from piece to piece. A smaller version or our quilt, these throw blankets are made from leftover scraps from our upholstery process. The vintage indigo pieces will each be unique and very limited in production. *As with all naturally dyed materials, this canvas will be prone to fading in direct sunlight and will change color slowly over time. We celebrate these variations in tone, and enjoy the sight of the material aging beautifully. Every Stephen Kenn piece is made to order through our Los Angeles studio. We create these pieces utilizing a number of small businesses and fabricators in the LA area. We welcome inquiries about custom dimensions or custom material combinations to best fit your space and personal aesthetic.

After several years of using indigo canvas to upholster our sofas and chairs from the Inheritance collection, we have accumulated a great deal of scrap material. Most are just pieces too small to use for upholstery, or the leftover cuttings from the sewing room floor. We designed and made these quilts with those pieces. The backside of the quilt is a very soft brushed canvas. Each piece is unique with varying shades of Indigo canvas and quantities are very limited. Inspired by a worn-in pair of jeans and created alongside the team at Simon Miller, USA, our indigo cotton canvas is hand dyed...
