About the Item
Coming from a research by Studio Nucleo on Stone Fossils, Carpet Studio Nucleo Green Onyx (3x4mt) is the perfect support to the Primitive’s family sofas and armchair, thanks to their chromatic coordination. They have been created for the contrast and can boast very important characteristics such as: fireproof, easy to clean, great colour resistance when exposed to light, great resistance when stepping on it and good dimensional stability.
A collective of artists and designers based in Turin (Italy) since 1997. Led by Piergiorgio Robino, designer and functional artist, their practice is well known for its experimental approach to material research at the intersection between art, architecture, furniture and design. Exploring ancient artisanal techniques and materials. They handcraft their pieces, modulating them through contemporary technologies. Pioneers in the field of resin work, they have been refining their techniques for almost twenty years. Their artworks are part of the permanent institutional collections, like the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Triennale Design Museum in Milan, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA to mention a few.
