This contemporary art rug is an open edition, woven by Odabashian's network of family-owned weavers near Mirzapur, India with the finest New Zealand wool. The design was created by Cooper-Hewitt 2017 Design Medal recipient Joe Doucet for the 2018 Zona Maco Contemporary Art Fair in Mexico City. Established in 1921, Odabashian is a creative conduit for artists, designers, architects and creatives to learn, explore and create using traditional hand-made rug making techniques for applications across all design industries.
