Vintage Distressed Bulgarian Polonaise Design Carpet
About the Item
:: Oversized center medallion bearing trefoil contoured finials atop a covered ground in a classic polonaise motif. Covered ground with scrolling vinery and elaborate interconnected features, wrapped by a main border in detailed floral arabesques. Abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Sky blue, cream, dusty blush, coffee brown, pale jade green, celadon green, powder blue, dusty rose, pale lime green, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Bulgarian Polonaise design carpet made in Bulgaria circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 10' x 13'10".
