Size: 14ft 1in x 10ft 11in (430 x 332cm).
Antique Mahal carpet of very good large room size in pastel colours.
Circa 1900.
The carpet has an all over floral design in soft pastel colours with shades of pink and soft reds, the design highlights are in soft greens, yellows and blues. These colours are very easy to furnish with and the carpet is very easy on the eye.
The dark indigo border frames the carpet beautifully.
The carpet is in well used 'country house' condition, there is general wear with medium / low pile, there are areas of old re-piling and some patch repairs. There are one or two spots of heavier wear, some of the old repairs are now faded. The carpet will still stand up to regular floor use and is suitable for a living or dining room where you require the 'lived with' look.
The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
