Cloudband Kazak rug from Armenia,southwest Caucasus Age: circa 1880 Measurements: 8′.0″x4′.10″ (244x147cm) This beautiful kazak has a well executed design with two Cloudband medallions in a multicolor zig-zag field.The typical red and ivory cloudbands and yellow centers are present.The wide attractive ivory crab design main border harmonizes with the rest of the rug.The additional ivory star border at one end is most unusual.The rug has a vibrant color combination with a thick pile and excellent condition.
