20th Century Multicolor Deco Runner Ozbek Rug, € 1650

About the Item

Very particular drawing of this carpet comes from Afghanistan. The country has a long tradition of rug tunes. With a view to re-evaluating the artisan work of these populations and to safeguard the memory, it was thought to introduce new decorative models. The carpets that are noticed today no longer arise for the life of nomadic populations but instead are valid furnishing accessories, which are fine in the houses of the Western world. Carpets made for an export market that, however, have been able to maintain and even enhance the characteristics of the Afghan carpet. Measures: CM 398 x 98.
