Antique Tekke Turkmen rug, with soft warm red colour

This pleasing example has 4 rows of 10 Tekke guls on a soft madder red field, the borders are of the 'sun burst' design with small stars Note the original large elem panels at each end The rug is a little wider than normal making it a very useful furnishing size
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the rug has soft wool and a floppy handle
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display The rug is suitable for normal domestic use
