About the Item

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, this 9x9 vintage Afghan kilim is a new curation from Rug & Kilim’s collection. On the Design: This particular rare piece enjoys a rich brown open field with an extremely minimal border. The constitution embraces a two-panel style with two of the widest panels we’ve ever seen brought together into one piece. This is an unusual, yet beautiful Kilim, and an exemplar of tribal style as well. Condition: This mid-century Afghan Kilim enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Furthermore, its promotional price is in support of the women of Afghanistan.
