About the Item

Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, this 4x6 vintage Baluch Kilim is a new curation from Rug & Kilim’s primitivist flatweaves. On the Design: Specifically believed to be coming from the Leghari clan of the Baluch tribe, this 4x6 flatweave boasts a montage of classic patterns sitting comfortably on brown. A keen eye would note hints of blue, orange & green beautifully punctuating the mature palette for an inviting pop of color. Condition: This mid-century Afghan Kilim enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Furthermore, its promotional price is in support of the women of Afghanistan.
