Vintage but Modern Afghan Rug with Detailed Borders

About the Item

The natural ecru field shows five columns of vertically connected, small octagonal, quartered guls, with columns of floating small chemche secondary guls between. Wide border system with lozenges and broken X’s. Narrow elems (extra end panels) with fringed diagonal bars. The basic Turkmen designs have been modified for a modern clientele. Well-woven. Good condition. Rug Size 6'7x9'3
