About the Item
This carpet is hand woven in China. A classical 19th century chinese rug with beautifully decorated field framed with multi borders of fretwork. Structurally this carpet made fairly uniform, with double-wefted cotton foundations on to which the asymmetrical knots open to the left were tied.
