This antique Khotan rug has a shaded royal-blue field scattered with flowering stems, flowerheads and leafy trees around a column of three large roundels the central with a large ivory cusped lozenge issuing royal-blue angular tendrils, the roundels above and below with a soft aubergine-purple band of charcoal-black flowerheads around a royal-blue panel with an angular vine enclosing a central lozenge with a flowerhead, the aubergine-purple, light blue and charcoal-key pattern spandrels, in a sandy-yellow cloud-motif border between key-pattern and light-blue angular floral vine stripes, inner aubergine-purple broad stripe...
