Hand-knotted in wool, this 12x18 rug by Rug & Kilim is a new addition to their Chinese Art Deco rug line.
On the Design:
Hand-knotted in wool, this oversized contemporary rug recaptures the Chinese Art Deco rug style of the 1920s. Its floral pattern enjoys a teal tones of green and blue over field and border of beige-brown and gold camel color tones. Keen eyes will admire patterns like bamboo trees—inspired by Nichols rugs as one of the most unique curations of this historic style.
This is a sophisticated contribution to the Chinoiserie style, and a spacious large-size choice seldom seen in this style. Its thick, durable body and fine detail further capture the look of a period piece with an elegant presence.
