19th Century Persian Kerman Lavar Runner in an Allover Floral Design in Rust Red

Rare 19th Century Persian Kerman Lavar runner in an allover floral design with rust red field and green border colors. The Lavar Kerman rarely is seen in a runner format which makes this rug even more desirable. The other unique aspect of this runner is its allover floral design with colors in French blue, pink, red, and ivory. It has a gorgeous border in a colorful flower bouquet design in a beautiful and very rare green background with flowers in brilliant red in a repeated fashion around the edge of the runner. Kerman rugs from southern Persia are desired for their use of floral bouquets in their designs. The city of Kerman, located as a major stop on the ancient silk road has been a center of cultural exchange and design.
