About the Item
An extraordinary example of 19th-century Persian artistry, this magnificent Tabriz carpet hails from the renowned workshop of master weaver Haji Jalili. Celebrated for his refined use of color and intricate designs, Haji Jalili's work represents the pinnacle of Persian weaving. This carpet features a majestic central medallion in cream, gracefully set against a deep indigo (navy) ground, complemented by soft tones of sand, baby blue, and pale red. The field is profusely adorned with delicate floral motifs, executed with exceptional precision and elegance. Its unusually generous width makes it an even rarer and more desirable find. A true masterpiece, this carpet offers a timeless work of art meant to be admired, preserved, and passed down through generations.
