Antique Distressed Kermanshah Carpet

About the Item

:: Ornate oversized medallion with bursting floral contour in scalloped and trefoil orientation wrapped by intricate Rococo stylized outlines atop a predominantly open field. Colors and shades include: Faded raspberry pink, antique ivory, sky blue, teal blue, wine red, ivory, platinum and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with areas of isolated regions of foundation showing through. One or two small rewoven piled areas, in addition to multiple, professionally restrung foundation to the interior. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kermanshah carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 12' x 18'8".
